The 3 Techies Banter Internet Radio Station is Live!

We are oddly excited to announce that 3 Techies Banter is launching its very own internet radio station! After countless episodes dissecting the latest in tech, we're taking a delightful step sideways - or perhaps backwards – into one of humanity's most enduring technologies: radio.

Why Radio Might Outlive Us All

Like many of our other outlandish hypotheses, we believe that when aliens invade or the mushroom clouds bloom, the only communication technology still standing will be Radio. While our smartphones become expensive paperweights and satellite networks go dark, someone, somewhere, will be cranking up a hand-powered radio transmitter, sending Morse code or voice into the electromagnetic void. Radio waves require only a basic transmitter and receiver for their transmission. They don't require login credentials, software updates, or sophisticated equipment/infrastructure. They just... work.

Radio is the cockroach of communication technologies; practically indestructible and frustratingly simple. And we mean that as the highest compliment.

The Magic of the Airwaves

There is something thrilling yet surprising about radio. It is the serendipity of stumbling upon an unexpected song or conversation. It is the feeling of connection without algorithms deciding what you should hear next.

Low in Tech; High on Reliability

Sometimes old tech is dependable tech. Like feature phones that last two weeks on a single charge. Like Ethernet cables that deliver consistent gigabit speeds while your Wi-Fi mysteriously drops for the third time today. Like mechanical keyboards that will outlive your grandchildren. And AM/FM radios that operate during power outages.

Our Frequency, Your Adventure

As the 3 Techies Banter team, we couldn't be more thrilled to add "radio broadcasters" to our resumes. We're bringing our signature blend of tech talk, terrible puns, and tangential discussions to the airwaves - both internet and, who knows, maybe someday actual radio frequencies.

Radio isn't just about nostalgia (though we'll admit to a healthy dose of that). It is about creating a unique listening experience and keeping the spirit of funtech alive.

So tune in, turn up, and join us on this wonderfully anachronistic adventure. Because in a world of constant disruption, sometimes the most radical thing you can do is embrace the technology that refuses to be disrupted.
